Our one-on-one sessions provide individualized instruction in math and ELA (reading and writing) for early childhood, elementary, middle, high school, and introductory college-level students. Sessions are offered in person or online and are tailored to each student’s specific learning needs, academic goals, and pace of progress. After each session, families receive detailed written or oral communication regarding the skills and concepts covered during the lesson.

Our small group sessions are designed for students who are in the same class, at a similar academic level, or working on the same targeted math or ELA skills. Families must already have an established group, making this option ideal for classmates, siblings, and homeschool pods. Sessions remain small to ensure focused instruction, guided practice, and meaningful progress for each student. After each session, families receive detailed written or oral communication regarding the skills and concepts covered during the lesson.

​We provide targeted test preparation for elementary through high school students, supporting a wide range of school-based and national assessments, including i-Ready, MAP Growth, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and commonly used private-school assessments such as the Iowa Assessments. Instruction focuses on both content mastery and test-taking strategies, with personalized plans based on each student’s strengths and growth areas. With a proven track record of improving academic performance and test scores, our goal is to help students build confidence and achieve measurable results on their assessments.

Our summer programs are designed to prevent learning loss and help students enter the next school year confident and prepared. Through focused instruction in math and ELA (reading and writing), students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and build readiness for upcoming grade-level expectations. This service is especially beneficial for students who need targeted support to catch up academically, as well as for rising Kindergarten students who are developing early literacy, number sense, and classroom readiness skills. Summer instruction is a powerful way to maintain momentum, reinforce core concepts, and start the new school year strong.

This service provides private, one-on-one teaching in core academic subjects (math or ELA—reading and writing) for homeschool students in elementary through high school. Parents may choose for us to follow their selected curriculum, or we can provide instruction using our own materials aligned to state standards. Depending on the number of weekly sessions scheduled, this service may be used to fully teach the subject or to supplement learning by targeting specific skill gaps or focus areas. This option is ideal for families who want to outsource most or all of their core subject instruction while ensuring their child receives structured, high-quality teaching.

TR Tutoring Solutions is launching a structured, at-home reading curriculum designed for parents, tutors, and interventionists who want high-quality instructional resources to effectively teach and strengthen reading skills. These programs are based on the same research-driven methods we use in our one-on-one and small group instruction and are also used with our own children. The curriculum is designed to be effective and straightforward—without unnecessary gimmicks or extra materials—providing families with the tools and guidance needed to deliver strong, consistent instruction at home.
